I don't have the option to build walls around my area, so you can see the light thru the gables in the front of the house at night! I have the timer set for 12midnight to 6pm next day. Can anyone tell me, is there something I can put up to cover that area without blocking the air flow?

I will do that. I will use my florescents on them. I like them bushy too. You are right they don't need that much light to begin with. It's too hot right now where my light is set up. I have to move them until the temps cool down anyway. Thanks!

How many hours can they handle under a 400 wtt hps light to start out with? Last time I had a different set up. So do I need to start them out with 6 hours and work them up to the 18 hours over a weeks time? Or are they ok will the full 18 hours starting out?

It's been so long I can't remember how close to keep hps light from the tips at this stage. I know I'm good with 1 to 2 ft in distance. Is it the same with young ones of this age? The light is about 2 1/2 feet from them now and they look as though they are starting to stretch.

You said sativas are best at this stage to cut? I sampled a piece, it doesn't seem strong enough. Or with sativas is that something that gets better and better through curing etc? I've heard up to 16 weeks with sativas. They are 15 now. Oh from now on I'm goin with Indicas.
