What just start happening to my plant today? Too much water or 20-20-20 maybe?

Hi people I am about 4 weeks into vegetative stage, so i am wondering is my plant ready for topping. I don't have experience in that technique, from what i've read i should cut the main i should do that above 5th node on the main stem, but i am confuse because i don't see the main stem here...
