hey im building a grow box and i was wondering, what would be the best clear material to put between my 1000w HPS and my plants!!!

i know HPS is best for flowering and i currently have 270W worth of 6500k CFLs on my babies, would it be better to just use the 1000w HPS to veg is i had it on 18/6?

I am growing 8 white widow plants with miracle grow soil under (8) 27w 6500k CFLS. i will be adding more cfls soon! how much of a yield can i plan on getting from each plant?? this is my first grow, however i have taken the time and effort into my grow!!! i am venting with a medium size fan...

is it bad to veg under cfls for 24 hours a day???

how do i tell that the bulb is at 6500K or 2700K??? these CFL's are confusing me, also does anyone know where i can get a cfl with more that 42W???
