this is what i got so far... african violet potting mix... 40 watt flourescent lights 2 each.. and tomoatoe nutrients/organic.. i need advise if my pottin mix is right and the tomatoe nutrients???

okay this is gonna be my first time growing in my closet.. from the information i been researching im going to wal mart and im gonna get african potting soil mix.. 4 flourescent lights 40 watts.. and some tomatoe nutrients/organic..? is there anything else im missing and can anyone please help...
