Hey all. Am going to put a lowryder auto under a 40 gallon hex fish tank, for my first ever auto. Thinking of using just a couple cfl bulbs and a2L soda bottle soilless. How far should the lights be above the plants canopy for the veg? And for the flower? And is just two cfl's enough?

Looking at some options for lighting and would like to use LED's but don't really know much about them. Putting together a very small closet setup, a 2ft by 8ft space. Was thinking of ordering a 600w grow panel from eBay. I need to know if the watts are the same, as for hps bulbs, or if I...
