    Massachusetts Outdoor Grow 2019

My 3 girls. Just as a reminder - the two plants on the ends are in 5 gallon pots and the center plant is in 10 gallon - the center plant is over 6 feet and the smaller ones are about 4 1/2 feet - I'm impressed by how big these have gotten in such small pots.....

I mostly use my bud to make tinctures and coconut oil so it might really make sense for me to leave the sugar leaves on.

My plants have made a big turnaround and are looking much better. Fed them more and loosened up the compacted soil.... (going small this year - 2 plants on the ends are in 5 gallon pots and the center plant is in a 10 gallon)...

    Outdoor grow plant problems

I just used a thin wooden dowel and penetrated the soil in multiple places in all my containers. Because my containers are fabric I also used my hands to bang on the sides of the containers to break things up a bit. I'll also feed a bit more next feeding and I'll give them a bit of CalMag and...

Got it - thanks so much for this suggestion - the soil seems very compacted and this might help.

Will try a bit more feeding for N. Watering every other day. The holes I think are due to Japanese beetles. Any other suggestions?

When you say "penetrate all the way through" do you mean to water/feed until drainage or something else?

The fertilizer I can take care of, but in terms of being root bound you don't think I should transplant at this stage do you?

    Outdoor grow plant problems

Thanks. I do have some CalMag - should I give them a bit of this? My soil is a mix of store bought (Coast of Maine Stonington Blend) and home soil from where we dump vegetation (compost) - the soil is a bit heavy - I did add quite a bit of Perlite but I don't think it's draining well -...

    Outdoor grow plant problems

Outdoor grow, New England. Plants are about 3 months old from seed. In soil, two in 5 gallon containers (Blueberry X C99), one in 1 gallon (Neville's Haze). Watering every other day. Plants seem very thin/spindly with many yellow leaves recently. Feeding compost tea. Photos below. Obviously some...

^ - Thanks, here's a few shots of them. In the last couple looks like some beetle damage but I don't think that accounts for the yellow flowers and spindly plants overall....

My plants seem really thin/spindly and getting lots of yellow leaves - is it possible to overwater outdoors in fabric pots (two 5 gallon and one 10 gallon) in this heat? Watering about every other day.
