My question.....does it mean to keep them *ONLY* out of UV sunlight? Since it's the UV light that degrades THC? Or do they also must be in darkness?

So, I guess it's the temperature at the stems buried in the plugs is what matters, and not of the whole cuttings.

Is it the WHOLE CLONE itself that need to be in optimal temp range?
Meaning....does the room itself need to be in optimal temp? OR is it JUST the root zone temp that matters?
I'm trying to root clones now in chilly December in S. California. Our temperature is 50-60 F...
