    Bridgelux led selection

Well, I finally got the ball rolling. So far I have 24 gen 2 eb strips on 1" heatsinks and some 20" t slot for the frame. 2 hlg-320h-42b drivers(probably going to get a third and run 8 strips per driver) hurricane x controller(really like this) cloudline 8" filter and t series fan, an...

    f series led dyi build

I'm still acquiring parts for my bridgelux eb gen 2 strip build but no grow experience but I can help with some of your questions. The double row is going to offer less in terms of uniformity than a single row strip. You might look into getting some strips like I got. They were only $8.40 for...

Led controller ideas - coralux storm??

I am putting together a led strip grow tent setup. I am pretty set on the bridgelux eb gen 2 strips, 1120mm 3500k paired with 2 hlg320-42ab drivers. My question is really what can control the lights to allow for sunrise/sunset and control fares and photo red spectrums when I add them later? The...

    Bridgelux led selection

Since I got the 5x5 tent I think more light is needed. Thinking 2 fixtures with 8 gen 2 eb strips and a hlg 480c1400b. Not sure if I'm using the right volts measurement..171 volts-343 volts, so 41v(forward voltage of each strip) times 8(strips) is 328 volts. Will this driver run them safely...

    Bridgelux led selection

Well, I finally am getting started buying all my equipment. Had to get a better deal, so I waited til today, black Friday. Got a 5x5 gorilla tent for $280 delivered. Got a AC infinity t8 fan and 8"carbon filter for 25% off. Now I need to get my lights figured out. Leaning heavily toward the eb...

    0-10v PWM Dimming?

I am searching for options on led light controllers. The "best" one I have found so far is the chilled light controller. Has sunrise and sunset but is $299.00. I guess I'll use all the savings from buying strips on the controller.

    Bridgelux led selection

My thinking was since the strips run cool at 1050ma, at 1275ma is not too much more and below the 1400ma max. Ill also be using heatsinks for a nice expandable frame with good air flow between strips(want to add emerson and spectrum boost if my buds aren't getting super frosty).I'm trying to...

    Bridgelux led selection

Thanks! Perfect responses, ill go with an AB...didnt even know they made them after looking for the past month on cobs and led strips. So if I had the driver you suggested, running 6 strips would be a problem if one went out? Since it has the on board voltage limiter.... The strips would just...

    Bridgelux led selection

Man, a ~600w led and driver for less than $400. As long as I can keep it safe, that is an incredible deal for a high ppfd, low heat, low power light.

Also, other than a type b, that one would work like I said? And get about 640 total watts?

    Bridgelux led selection

So, do I attach a controller to it to be able to dim and mimic sunrise/sunset? I really didn't want to put a pot. on there. Thanks for your input Boatguy!

    Bridgelux led selection

So I have decided the eb strip are my pick however I'm having a hard time finding the right driver. I would like to run 2 "racks" each one containing 6 of the 1120mm eb strips(gen 2 unless somebody thinks the gen 3 slim offers any significant advantages over the gen 2's $8.40 vs $14) and a...

    Bridgelux led selection

Yes, I have. Very informative. I have watched his YouTube, greengene, and growmau5. If greengenes strips werent so expensive(maybe they arent when you factor efficiency?) Id like to try those out. One concern I did have was a lot of the information was published in 2018, so if new products have...

    Bridgelux led selection

Thank you inDC4now! I have been looking and drawing up some different setups. Vero29 cob, f series strips, eb gen 3 strips. Just can't make up my mind. I saw someone wrote just buy something(leds) and get started. I have a hard time with that... I want the best as long as it's not outrageously...

    Bridgelux led selection

FIirst off, I'd like to thank all the people who contribute to this board. So much great info that I can hopefully add to with my build and grows. I'm getting into growing since I got a medical card. I plan on producing mainly to make into bubble hash. For my light, I was leaning toward going...
