    Dehumidifiers inside or outside?

No, totally ok! Always good to hear and reconfirm.

    Dehumidifiers inside or outside?

Actually the 3 minute air exchange is for the tent, not the warehouse, hence the question of whether or not I need a dehumidifier inside the tent or if I can just keep it outside and depend on the air exchange. Thanks for your 2 cents!

    Dehumidifiers inside or outside?

The exhaust will be my only ventilation with a passive intake of air. I'm planning to also add some Co2 to ensure at least 400-500ppm. Can you expound on why ventilation will be my bigger issue if I'm venting out air every 3 minutes? Grow area is 18x22 within the tent. Sounds like I may need...

    Dehumidifiers inside or outside?

Ok so this may seem like a no-brainer question, but just wanted to see what other opinions are on this. The current design concept is to use large Mylar grow tents within a very large warehouse to create "microclimates" . Currently each microclimate will be about 3600 Cubic SF. Each tent will...

    Seedlings keep dying?

Makes me nervous but I'll try! I also did a small test with my 6500K lights and don't know if this could be an issue. There's not much in the 400nm as I had thought, and the lux was on the lower end for sure. I'm assuming that could cause problems? [

    Seedlings keep dying?

So this is my first official grow and I made my first mistake by overwatering and my first plant damped overnight and died after sprouting about 3 cm. Ok so moved on and germinated another seed, and was happy it sprouted again, watered appropriately, but now it's not growing and showing odd...

    LED heat VS HPS heat?

Wow thanks for sharing. Seems like Watts aren't all just Watts. I guess the question now is - do HPS lights translate well into Watts to BTU calculations? or do LED's?

    LED heat VS HPS heat?

Practically - that was my same logic. But theoretically - the laws of science say otherwise. Guess thats where my confusion really lies. Wish someone could actually test this!

    LED heat VS HPS heat?

Yes, understood, but that 1/3 reduction is because the input power rating of LED's is less. Meaning a 680W LED is comparable to a 1000W DE regarding PPF - but I'm still using 680W's of energy. My question is addressing the heat produced by the 680 Watts. Ultimately @Boatguy confirmed that...

    LED heat VS HPS heat?

I'm assuming you mean 1/3 of a standard AC load of 1000DE right? not my 680 x 3.4BTU calculation?

    LED heat VS HPS heat?

Ok - that's what I figured but was crossing my fingers for a better answer. My AC tonnage will be.... bleh. :)

    LED heat VS HPS heat?

Forgive me for reviving a 8 year old thread but... wanted to get this question answered. There are so many different answers and since 8 years have passed, I'm wondering if the opinion has changed or results have gotten better? I'm trying to plan for a indoor grow and sizing my AC properly...

Old post but was interested in when the air exchange happened? was it temperature based? or just based on a schedule? Looking into a hybrid combo. Thanks in advance
