A lot of leaves on this plant are curled real bad and some big leaves that are curled cover the nodes on the bottom should I just trim them off/r they important? Posted pics of the leaves I’m talking about.. a lot of the leaves have brown tips and curled upwards. I just fed it for the first time...

So I trimmed a lot of the inside leaves on the bottom 1/3 of the plant. Anyone able to help me in telling which branches need to stay and which ones need to go. I noticed nodes all over the plant covered up by giant leaves with no nodes, are they needed I feel like they will grow nodes too but idk.
