    The Ultimate Odour Control Thread

Not totally lose it but its NOT optimal. It will shorten the lifespan of the filter too if left at that level for a log time. The humidity should be kept at 60% or less at all times. My setup runs at about 52% to 55% and that gives me basically 99.99% smell control. The plants like it inflower...

Control odor & sterilize your room air + surfaces 24/7 + eliminate PM

So, dumb question maybe but there arent any units that are for smaller grows, like a grow tent in a basement setup with 3-5 total plants? Im very happy with my carbon scub setup but am always on the lookout for the latest and greatest.

    The Ultimate Odour Control Thread

Just hooked up a new Vortex ProLite 4x16 filter to a Hydrofarm Active-Air 165CFM fan. Just used a short piece of ducting between the two and then ducted straight out the side of the tent back into the basement. Its a 3x3x6 tent with 3-5 plants in flower. I was using Ona Gel in the basement...

Right? I ripped everything to various digital media and backups so I really dont need them. They do work wonders for raising nd lowering plants. :)

    Looking for spider farmer

They arent crappy at all - at least not my Spider-Farmer SF-2000. Its well made and uses quality parts all around. The latest model has the switches and dimmers on a different housing so no more messing with screws. Tests show this light puts out solid numbers for what you pay. The data doesnt...

Hi folks - Im now on the LED team. Went with the Spider-Farmer SF2000 for my 3x3x6 grow tent. I also use LEDs for vegging. Im coming from CFL based micro grows so this new flowering setup will be quite the upgrade for me. Cheers dudes & dudettes!

Im sure you're right and I just started up my 3x3x6 grow tent with a nice Spider-Farmer LED to get away from CFLs. They have a purpose and are still a great choice for a micro grow or a grow on a tight budget. I was just trying to keep the guys costs down. :) But there are way better options...

Honestly, I just use whatever CFLs I can get locally at Lowes or Home Depot(GE, Sylvania, etc). You want 23W bulbs(100watt equiv) - 5000K color temp for veg and then you have to switch to 2700K temp for flower. You'll see the color temp on the package. I think "day" bulbs are 5000K and soft...

Where are you growing them? Tent? Grow box? Closet? CFLs can grow decent weed, Ive been doing that for years and they are cheap. You'd need a bunch of them for 4 plants but they wont cost you much and are cheap to run. No heat either.

    Led Users Unite!

Greetings - just joined the forum. Ive been doing small grows in grow cabinets/boxes with CFLs for a while but have recently decided to take the LED plunge. So, I got a 3x3x6 tent and a Spider farmer SF-2000(newest model with power adjustment knob on outside of housing!). Im pretty confident...
