For growers in the GTA - get ready for a bad week

TY for the help! The trunk of the plant looks but at a few branches there is discoloration - but those branches are not as sick as the ones that do not have the discoloration.

How do I save my plant? There has been no rain in the last two weeks.

My biggest confusion is why are the leaves that come from the bud going yellow and dying, starting at the top and slowly moving down the plant.

Is this bud rot or another problem? The leaves that come out of the bud are dying, drying and then the bud itself dies in a few days. The dry but does not smell like rot - just dead and dry.
