    RIP Ozzy

RIP Ozzy. One of the true legends of Rock and Roll. Some absolutely amazing music with Sabbath and Solo. A couple true stoner songs I haven’t seen in the thread yet

Thermoelectric wine cooler drying and curing - DIY

Sure, this thread is all about sharing ideas so please post your build, any improvements or different ways of doing things. As long as it’s a thermoelectric drying cooler this would be the place to post it. Very glad the thread helped out, that’s exactly what I was hoping for when I started it.

You can dry in a compressor based fridge, it’s called the “lotus cure method”, but works differently than using the thermoelectric cooler. Here’s one link, or google lotus cure: https://www.rollitup.org/t/drying-in-a-fridge.1064688/

    Run out

I don’t have any experience with Tomorite, but I use TomatoTone without issues all the time. It’s certainly better than not feeding if/when needed.

I don’t think you’d be pushing risk of mold or anything, although some terps start to evaporate at 70f so I wouldn’t go much higher than that.

You probably need to calibrate your dehumidifier if it’s getting crispy at 62 rh. They are not well calibrated out of the box, mine was about 12 rh off when first plugged in. Should be part of your initial setup.

Sure, there’s no set rule. Usually after the first 4-5 days you can drop faster with no issues.

There is no holy grail of strain, but what would you chose?

Since no one has mentioned Crickets and Cicadas I’ll throw them out there, I’ve only grown a few of their strains but they were consistent and good.

Because it is smaller than the sensor so I could drill a smaller hole, no other reason. Once the hole is drilled and the sensor cable is run you connect it again.

Can you post a pic of your 2 units? I’d like to see how they were put together. You’re the first to complain about this particular problem so just curious how they were set up.

That’s it, just get some type of splice connector and splice them together, that’s it, there is nothing else after that.

If you have the same one as mine you can just cut the wires and reattach to just the TEC and the fan.

Pinball wizard is one of the top contenders in my next lineup. I keep hearing good things about it, I think your comment sealed the deal. It’s now on deck.

    SIP’n with Hook Daddy

Ok, that buggy mess is over, although I saw the grow through. Here’s the first buds out of the koolatron, this is the Wagyu Donutz. This is fully dried and cured about a week, a very strong fruity and gassy smell, and quite frosty as well, this was quite vigorous and the yield was high. Great...
