I am trying to grow mini plants and want to know where or how to get clone seeds and I am very new to growing

can i use my herb grower for the whole process? and do i have to switch my lighting to 12 hours on 12 hours off? right now im using 17 hours on 7 off

I saw a post about mini plants and i have never heard about them before but i want to try growing one so can someone give me a run down on it? I already have a prepara grower thing its basically an aero garden just different brand and i have a plant about 6 inches tall grown in that any help...
