To me they look ready, I have found that if I leave them go to long, I lose potency or someone steals them, I see a lot of people say Oct, but I go by taste and potency, take a few small samples from the bottom and try it, bigger isn't always better.

I think I would thin it out a little, take some of the sun leaves off and if it's in a planter, move it to more sun and air flow, even put a fan on it if you can to get the air circulating.
