    Bug id, mite?

Found this little bugger crawling around on a rapid root peat plug. Does anyone know it? Is it predatory, I do have fungus gnat larva in there too, could they be eating the larvae? I've been treating for fungus gnat larvae with mosquito bits, and an ipm spray. Today was the first time I've...

    Thrips how to treat

Thrips mainly lay eggs in the soft plant material. the leaves. there may be thrips in the soil, they do overwinter in soil and could easily be knocked off by anything. perhaps some overwintering bugs might drop some eggs in soil. but the bugs eat plant material, not soil and not roots like...

    PM Late Flower

there are recipes for a milk spray that will kill PM if you want to go cheap. If you want to buy a product, DR Zymes should do it, as should Athenas IPM. Both are citric acid based, you could likely just mix food grade citric and water, hit it with foliar spray. Neem maybe if you were no Deep...

    Spary Or Not

I have seen a lot of thrip damage, even with those insanely blurry pics i lean toward thrips. the black spots you saw were likely the shit of thrips. thrips suck, they are not insanely bad like spider mites but they are tough to completely cleanse. Neem, citric acid, Insecticidal soaps. In...

    Ants infesting the stem

I ran into dock aphids after bringing an outdoor plant indoors. Never again will i bring anything inside. once i noticed them it was too late, could not totally eradicate. harvested early. I would almost rather see spider mites than dock aphids.

No question or anything, just excited about my first successful grow

We have a strain at work that looks just like those purples. Strain we hav is called simply Purple Bud. i will try to post some of the pics from it in the next day, i would have to ask the boss where he nabbed the seeds. It was surprising to see something so close.

    Took clones. Wish me luck.

This is great advice. if you are having some success now, get a jar of Clonex. I almost bet a Raven with a Razor blade and a healthy plant could be trained to take clones with Clonex

Can I dry budz in my bathroom with steam?

get a membership at the local YMCA or other Gym. Use their facilities, try to poop at work or at the Gym. Or, set up a fan to run constantly, and take a 2 week trip/voluntary commitment to a nut house, then come out in 2 weeks. should be dry then. And you could meet some really interesting...

    Thrip infestation!!

Both, a sponge bath for the leaves will completely avoid the burnt pistils that can come from Citric acid on the buds. Or spray and try to avoid the buds and just eat a little pistil burn.

    Thrip infestation!!

Citric acid. home brew, 3tsp per liter. or Nukem or Athena IPM, or other citric based IPMS. If you worry about your buds, use a sponge and a water container. only wipe your leaves, tops and bottoms. Get some blue sticky pest squares for fliers. Take the worst affected leaves altogether, they...

    Spidermite

When i have used Citric acid for Thrips, i used 3 tablespoon/liter. If i had clones with bugs, i would not spray them. being small plants, just dunk them to ensure full coverage. only down side to citric acid was some fried pistils, i used it maybe halfway through flower
