Thanks for the video! Found 2 others that also stressed not blocking the tap root which is what I stilled managed to do. I'm going to have to make a small aero-cloner. Then allow the tap root to get long enough to reach all the way through the net pot before moving it and adding clay pellets. I...

They're CDLC from Mephisto. They are definitely bigger than the last 2 CDLC at the same time. I saw a post somewhere here that had day by day pics of some CDLC that looked about the same. Can't find it now.

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

I totally agree! This is probably the advantage of having a dedicated lung room to house your tent or tents.

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

3% humidity swings is where I'm at too, 2% above and 1% below. I don't honestly know how accurate any of this is. It certainly not laboratory grade accuracy. After all it's a very dynamic environment inside a grow tent or room almost like outside in mother nature. Plants can adapt to and deal...

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

I have my humidifier set up in auto mode, target, continuous 24/7". In target rather than trigger mode you only have the option of setting the on/off humidity level. I have the min/max settings at 3 and 5. My tent temp is set at 79 and humidity target at 74%. With a -1 degree offset my average...

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

I'm using an infrared laser thermometer that are available from amazon. Shoot several leaves to get an average temp. Subtract from room temp, if using leds, to get the offset. I didn't buy the most expensive one but it ballparks it close enough I think.

Finally, an effective and SAFE grow tent heater

I agree with you on their vpd mode and manual. I had no luck using the vpd mode. I do love being able to set the leaf temp offset and monitor vpd right next to temp and humidity. Their manual is awful. The only way to figure things out is to just start using it and manually tweak settings until...

I think my slow growth issue has been resolved. Six days between these two pics. Thank you @Mumbeltypeg for suggesting what the problem might be!

    10'6 x 14' Room with a 10x10 Tent - Winter mode - Living Soil

I'd put the foam on the inside of the window. Cut it for a tight press fit in window frame and then seal it with some shrink window film.

I actually was looking at the RRs before deciding on rock wool. Just the fact that by appearance only, they looked too much like Q-Plugs. Dry seeds went into moist rock wool on the 28th. On day four the first popped up. The next day the second was up and they both went into their net pots and...

What tree species is that burl from? The thing I love about burl wood is every one is a unique piece of natures art. You did them justice!

Help me out here, I’m kinda dumb

I personally wouldn't be able to trust any system like that as my rdwc is in a bedroom closet above a finished basement. I'm checking my tent at least once or twice a day anyway and it takes me less time to top off than check ph and ec. That being said, it sure would be nice to be able to...

Nice job! That's old school, most people couldn't do that without a CNC router table. I like the deer head or do you call that a stag?

My first two DWC grows using the q-plugs provided with my Hydrobucket kit were phenomenal. The plugs came in a sealed bag and were very moist. I think I remember reading that they should remain moist and not be allowed to dry out before use. This last time they were bone dry and I soaked them...

I think my problem has been the medium I've been starting my seeds in. After seeing the post by @Mumbeltypeg questioning what I was using to start my seeds in I did some research. I found out that it's a product from ihort called a q-plug. I think it's too dense and hinders the roots and...

I'm going to cut my losses and start fresh next week. There's no way these 2 little plants will grow enough before they start to flower. :(

Anyone know what leaf offset AC Infinity uses for the 69 pro controller VPD?

I too have the 69 Pro and other componets as well. I like the ability to be able to make small changes and monitor the effects in real time without constantly opening the tent. I'm wondering if their ai controller is truly ai or actually pid. Have you researched the ai controller yet?

That makes sense. In your pics it looks like you're using clay pellets too. When do you place your rooted collars into the pellets?

Anyone know what leaf offset AC Infinity uses for the 69 pro controller VPD?

Ditto! However with just a little tweaking of target heat and humidity temps I can maintain a pretty stable air vpd that gives me the leaf vpd I want.
