My question is, can you use LED/CFL combinations to still get the same type of effect a HPS/MH would have on perpetual SoG? Has anyone done this? If this question has already been asked i apologize.

are you doing 16/8 or 18/6? and is your plant exposed to any outside light at all? and is it with all females?

and in reply to your question neef, no you would not. many people prefer to do it that way, but its more costly so thats why some people opt for just the HPS.

HPS for sure. Not only does it work very well for veg and flowering but it also gives off more lumens per watt i believe it is around 107. MH works very well for veg, but not so great for flowering it produces more fluffy loose bud, and has a lower lumen to watt ratio, i believe its about 1 watt...

I'm no expert, but from what i read it sounds like ya baby isnt getting a whole lot of light, are you using a mixture of natural light and artificial light? if not i would recommend adding atleast 1, maybe 2, hell even 3 more lights if you wanted to. it could never hurt, and i think your leaves...
