Hey all, I realized I don't have a lot of posts here so I've got a question about fluors. Basically what exactly are we looking for when selecting lights? Obviously there is size, watts, and there is the types T8, T12 ect From my quick search on wiki, the T types seem to be ideal heat ranges...

I've done very little reading on topping and LST or SOG, I'm still not sure if SOG will work (or if I can do it), LST is an option for sure and possibly topping. Again I need to learn. I was thinking specifically small pots but as you said it will stunt growth which isn't what I'm going for...

I hate threadjacking, but is there any way to control the height as you grow? via pot size or whatever. I need some smaller plants too but I don't want to completely limit my seed choice by expected height. So if we want a 50cm plant (how many inches?) could we take something that will grow...

Turning the plants is a good idea for even light distribution, I have seen it suggested in ?a CFL? grow. I'd guess the best would be lights up top, atleast one in the center and how ever many on the outside. But with that light set up would the lazy susan make a difference? because they will...

from what I've learned so far (and I'm no pro) the energy that would have been used to grow the entire plant will be used to grow the remains after its topped. If you have damaged leaves/branches you should cut them so the plant does not use the energy repairing itself, instead of growing...
