    African Slavery Vs. English Slavery

ditto. Capitalism is the engine that drives the boat in industry. At least in the US it does

    African Slavery Vs. English Slavery

To be honest, I am learning about this here. In my major (Computer Science) we basically have no lives. Being drained from all the programming, parallelism, algorithms, and math, I unfortunately have not taken a lot of courses like this one. Perhaps that's why I am so interested. I agree with...

    African Slavery Vs. English Slavery

This is more of a difference between the English & Africans, not their systems of slavery

    African Slavery Vs. English Slavery

I wanted to point out how cool of an idea it was to enslave people for periods of time for committing crimes, rather than imprisoning them as we do today, and paying to feed and take care of them in jail where they are likely to end up again, or worse, in the hospital, where we pay even more for...

    African Slavery Vs. English Slavery

The important thing to note is the type of slavery. Slave holders (which is what i should have said) did not own their slaves (unless you fell under certain categories). Therefore they could not mistreat them as did the English, or else they were subject to sentencing by the courts as well

    Who owns a Toyota?

The problem with the pedals is supposed to happen gradually according to Toyota. This is why most have not seen anything.

    African Slavery Vs. English Slavery

So I'm taking a Race & Ethnicity class and my teacher saids that West Africans (where most slaves came from) also owned, sold, and traded slaves. The difference lies in what they called 'slavery'. Let me layout some notes i took in class: African slavery != English Slavery Slaves could move...

    Who owns a Toyota?

If you haven't been keeping up-to-date, Toyota has recently recalled the following 8 vehicles for "runaway gas pedals" (thats right, the gas pedal literally gets stuck!! There have been several deaths already) These are the defected cars: 2009-2010 RAV4, 2009-2010 Corolla, 2009-2010 Matrix...

    Partnership With DopeStats

Hello admins and rollitup community, In an effort to help a good cause and also grow the Rollitup community, I would like to propose a partnership: As of today, DopeStats remains highly ranked for particular search terms such as "Marijuana statistics" and "Marijuana prices". Our system takes...

Check this website I found: find weed anywhere in the world!

I wouldn't try any of the methods described in the website, they're probably all been raided by cops. The best you can do is have an idea of what's around, and try randomly if you're brave enough... Here is something else that may give you more info if you did not find your city: Weed prices by...

    Assume Weed Is Legalized.

The price may go down, but I think the underground markets will still be around. It's true going in to the store would be much more convenient, but you'd still save more money growing your own. Imagine the weed consumer.. Each time they want to get high = money, versus growing their own, and...

    Price of Bud if Legal

The marijuana market of today is still natural in the sense that the prices set by cannabis dealers in America are not motivated by competing dealers. Most dealers I believe, simply go with the first price they heard of, or the prices in the local community. This makes it a natural market...

    Assume Weed Is Legalized.

I'm trying to understand what you meant... You wouldn't mind paying more for bud if it were available widespread (i.e - legalized, de-criminalized)? I don't agree with paying more for something that one can already get for free if you grow it. Especially for a harmless plant like marijuana.

    Assume Weed Is Legalized.

It will be difficult with marijuana though, since it can be home grown this might affect demand. I believe there is a "natural" pricing if you will, going on today. By this I mean, the prices that marijuana dealers set are not motivated by competition against other dealers/companies. Instead...

    Assume Weed Is Legalized.

Let's assume marijuana is legalized at the federal level.. You know it's going to be regulated, just like alcohol and tobacco. So then I ask myself, how will the federal government decide to price their weed? (or the individual states?) Well then, since it all has to be regulated, should the...

    Suggestions...

How about we setup a better system for reporting prices than just pages upon pages of posts in threads?! If you take a look at my posts, I will admit I've been only using rollitup.org to promote this idea. I made DopeStats for this purpose, among others. What do you guys think about setting up...

    Marijuana Prices

Let me invite you guys to post your prices on DopeStats: http://www.dopestats.com It has a pretty decent system for reporting the street prices of weed sold in varying weights and different qualities. Not to mention that it is much better than flipping through a bunch of pages and having to...

How far does $20 get you?

This really depends on where you live. I've seen 1g of chronic go for $20. To get a good picture, it's best to visualize the prices across the U.S. Check out my sig for something that might give you an answer.
