their in light right now and how much light do they need? im going to put them 16 hours in light and 16 hours in dark. does that sound okay? and will the yellowing go away?

im just starting my first grow and the seeds sprouted out of the soil a couple days ago and i was wondering if they need light right now? and i have another question, the stems are light green but the top is like yellow, is that normal? they are about an inch lol.
