I have a grow tent that is limited in space, im wondering if it is OK to connect my inline 6 inch fan directly to my carbon filter, with no ducting. The air will then go through a cool tube then be exhausted does anyone see a problem when doing this?

is it ok to push air through a carbon filter rather than pull?

I will be cutting holes in the wall for the intake as well as the exhaust. The intake will still be inside the house while the exhaust will be outside
