im running two 32" x 32" x 63" tents, one with a 400w hps and one with a 240w led panel in my basement... i let both exhaust into the room and temps still stays great... also purchased a 65 pint haire dehumidifier for the room.

i was looking to shut down around july aswell until i realized the basement stays good temps year round... ill probably have to dial in my setup since its a whole new environment but im thinking year round growing is comfortably in my future.

it seems that most hoods would be super tight fitting... its like 24" hood + 6" of ducting x 2 (each side) is 36... but the tent is only 32

i do exhaust into the room, however... the room its self is air conditioned.

the speed controller plugs into the outlet its self, then the fan plugs into the speed controller... theres no possible way to have it inside unless the power strip was inside too. the light is a 400w hps... the fan is pushing 400cfm... and the tent is only 32" x 32" x 5'

so the idea in the pic i posted should work ok then?

Just picked up a 2nd 6" inline fan to cool my 2nd tent. this one i want to use passive intake so i was wondering if this should work? pic!

i guess i assumed it wouldnt be efficient while being dimmed to a lower wattage

lol i should have noticed thats an 8 bulb setup lol... but thats what i thought too, really convenient. the way mines setup it works well, although i ordered a cool tube before i figured it out so ill probably setup another tent for veg and use the wing+fan in there.

OR, if you have really good negative pressure in your tent from your exhaust, MOST of the hot air will travel upwards without hitting the other side of the tent at all. (this way is even better)
