Is it OK to trim most all the large fan leaves off of your plants? I find myself having to trim most all of the large fan leaves off so that the lights can get to the new growth? is this of or does it actually help?

thanks guys, sure willkar, pics are below, i just trimmed them up a little today, but as you can see some are reaching one way or the other, so i'm thinking if i add 4 65watt cfls (2 on each side) that it will solve the light problem..

if i turn off the lights on my plants for 48hrs, then switch to 12/12, after i sex the plants can i put them back on 18/6 for veg with no problems?

im using flora micro and flora grow. Im mixing 2 tsp per gallon, thats between the mild general and the veg stage on the bottle, i must be mixing the micro to strong or not enough...
