    Seedlings-The early days

I'm growing in soil.. It's my first grow too but I'll try to answer your question from my little experience and from what I've read. First, You should not worry about nutrients at all until the plants are past the seedling stage, maybe three weeks or so. Even then, you should start with a...

Nirvana Seeds: very inconsistent in my experience

So, it's my first grow. I ordered Nirvana Northern Lights the first time and killed all but two of them due to lack of experience/knowledge. So I ordered some more of the same seeds, and they are doing well, but the plants are COMPLETELY different from the first ones. The two that lived from...

    Scotts soil

To me, and I'm new too, but the smaller the better, for the soil. I tried Miracle Gro and there was too much nutes in that and it stunted the growth of my plants. I switched to a very generic potting soil with no nutes and I have had much better success adding my own. I don't have access to...

Are these two plants ready to bud or can I let them grow more?

How could that work? Don't the plants double or triple in size while flowering? If they max out while vegging, how will I get any buds?

Are these two plants ready to bud or can I let them grow more?

nice replies... I have heard the 12 to 18 inch thing, but I didn't know how doing LST would change that. I will let them go a bit longer. They are about a month and a half from seed right now.

Are these two plants ready to bud or can I let them grow more?

Okay so these two are Northern Lights plants vegging under a 600 watt MH with some others. They will be flowering under a 600 watt hps, with the other smaller ones joining them in a few weeks. These are in 3 gallon containters with a soil mixture. I want to grow them as big as possible...

8 plants, two ready to flower...only one room

So I've got two plants that are about 3 weeks ahead of the others. They are getting big and need to be put into the flower cycle. The other 6 need those extra 3 weeks of veg or they aren't going to yield much. Can't I just move the 2 that are ready out of the grow room at like 7:30 in the...

First time Blue Dream... check out my setup

I'm new as well, and I would suggest you do some LST.... Low stress training.. Easy as hell, and so far looks like I'm gonna yield a ton from my first grow. The reason I say that is because your setup and plants look similar to mine. Tie those tops down!!! You won't regret it. You will have...

Seedlings from same seeds look totally diferent? PICS

Now, I'm not worried about the plant's health, it's a week old but this one definitely looks funny. These seeds were from Nirvana. Northern Lights. I am growing like 15 of them. The one in the first pic is a typical example of what all the rest look like. The second picture is the one...

My bad luck with Miracle Gro organic soil

Again, I'm not bashing MG organic, I was only sharing my experience with it. I've heard a lot of people do fine. I wish I could achieve that because it's relatively inexpensive.
