I would say you have a mold problem.

I would work your PH down to about 5.2-5.5 --- oh yeah, good luck and dont get discouraged, and you may want to use distilled water only for cloning. In my area water is so bad clones will not take in tap water.

I tried a pure LED grow. total waste of a few hundred dollars worth of LED lights. Seedlings would not even grow. Put a few Flouro tubes above them, they shot up, LED's are not even worth using as supplemental light. This oppinion is from experience, not what I have heard or read.

I would say more light. If your willing to go HPS, you can do a 150 Watt HPS for really cheap and you will be amazed at the difference it makes. I was absolutely stunned. Plus a 150 does not put out much heat if your worried about that. Good luck and I look forward to the pics.

I like to put in as big of a reservoir that I can, I do DWC not Ebb and flow, but the bigger the res the more stable your PH and PPM. Also with a bigger res you dont have to change your res as often. My rule of thumb is, big as possible without being absurd.

I would say if they are two weeks old and under a 600W you should be good to give the a 1/4 strenght nute mix, then up your dosage from their. Soil has nutes already so you dont have to start as early, I normally place 1/4 nute mix as soon as the third set of leaves start emerging. Good luck.

Im more of a fan of cloning with an ez cloner type system, Rockwool is very easy to get too saturated with water and roots need lots of air. Rockwool works if you can keep the right amount of water in your cubes, lots of work in an arid climate, not too hard in a moist climate. Good luck and...

t5s will work all the way through, results will not be as good as HPS for flowering but I have personally had good results with T5's

I have hydroton in my clay pots and until the roots hang out of the pots I keep my level about 1 cm above the bottom, then I let the level drop and keep the water below the pots after that.

I would add some more light, but for the light you have that seems normal.

I am going through the same problem right now, I had a few with brown stems under the neoprene plugs, I cut those and reapplied hormone, Everything up top look fine but no roots. Anyone know why they start browning?
