I was looking at Jacks Classic before I read more of the thread, because I use hempy buckets with perlite only it is not a good choice, but the dyna-gro is. In looking at Jacks Classic, I see it does not have any calcium in it. How do you address this?

You are getting a lot of good info here...but a lot of conflicting info also. Read some of the CFL grows you will learn a lot. You can figure the kind of lights they have and the size of box/room and determine how many lights you will need.

Will 1 90w quad band UFO handle 4 plants in a 2'x2' area start to finish?

Would 10x25w CFL put out just as much heat as 1 250w HPS? Isnt a watt a measure of heat? I keep hearing about clf being cooler, well I am sure 1 individual buld would be, but having enough of them to grow with would be as much heat as a HPS if my understanding is correct.
