blacklights dont do jack shit. just because you put them there with some other lights doesnt mean it is doing anything. dont try to grow with blacklights they dont. do. shit.

i've also head of doing this at the end of the life cycle, just before harvest. to give it like 36 hours darkness in the flush phase i guess. supposedly helps to promote fat bud growth during that time

i always thought this setup was stupid. because the outer bulbs are fluorescents, they NEED to be just above the plant tops, but the HID HPS in the middle make that impossible because they are attached, so imo the daylight T5 bulbs are basically wasted.

i think you'd have to aircool the lamps but sure. the only thing about it is that since you're not getting fresh air (from outside) to the actual plants, you might wanna run some CO2 setup. yes. because you said you'll pull air from another room...if you pulled the air from within the grow...
