yeah, dont add anything from now on, just water. as wheezer said, it can affect taste, and how it burns. It will also make it extremely harsh, no matter how long its cured for.
got here a little late, but oh well im gonna spread some technique. when you're in the woods, (or back yard for that matter) dig deeep, at least 2 feet, they will spread their roots, and find their own water. Even on hills, that seem really dry.
like tripboufe said, top about a week to 2 weeks before 12/12, buuut instead of once top twice, leaves you with 4. i suggest cutting the 2 other sides that will grow in if you dont want a bush. (you sometimes end up with 6 colas after topping twice)
It took 4 days, but i did it, i went through this ENTIRE thread. Haha. one of the best I've seen. Cannot wait till my Nobylcheese is done :P gonna be amazing! (cheesequake x chernobyl)
You don't have to stop at only getting two branches from cutting away the main stem. You can cut on a different angle and leave a little more left up top, and just bend it down. so 2 can now become 3, 4, 5, or whatever you want to go. Also, ever heard of monster cropping? let a plant go into...
they are looking better, but im still noticing purple stems. they are lacking nitrogen, feed them a nice all around 20/20/20 fert to get them on the right track.
Looking good soo far. im hoping for 10lbs myself. I have 20 on the go right now. one is a 3 foot (squared) bonsai mother from last year, ill probably pull one and a half pound off her alone. :p
