Anyone know anything pertaining to programming a PLC using DirectSoft 5 software? I want to use the PLC as a timer for the time being, appears to be basic ladder logic ?

IAm5toned Are you familiar with programming PLC ? I have acquired one and the DirectSoft 5 software. I am highly interested in using it as a timer basically to turn on / off lighting and fans so I would imagine it would be simple enough for someone that understood ladder logic programming...

grant it Im no pro but I personally feel that since you will be able to get the T5s closer to the plants they would work great side mounting to aid in lower lighting where the overhead is primarily being absorbed / blocked from canopy

two 1k sodium and two 4x8 T5 ....AC is 10k BTU aprox 6 feet up the wall and has difficulty keeping 80F when all lights on room is 10x10x10, fully wrapped with mylar and a few mirrors tossed in for good measure

Not to mention , who is to say your place isnt being cased by someone wishing to jack you
