it's from the lower part of one of the forming buds. is it possible that it isn't a seed? never heard of the "if it stinks" test... LOL will try it out. i already know that there are other pods that look the same (with pistils). i still am hoping it's just a healthy female.

thanx, i know that thread. as far as i can understand, it's not a hermie - because that would mean that it has 2 separate organs, not "balls with pistils" like the one i got the picture of. on the other hand, i do think i found an open male flower, as i stated. it's strange coz i didnt notice...

that's quite possible, but still, i don't really mind having small plants with little yield for my first grow, so i'm gonna keep them - or do you think i won't see any buds whatsoever? do you have any idea about the other things?

ok, so it's been a few days since people recommended i check ph and give them some mag. (outdoor grow, good soil) i did. soil ph is fine - around 6.5-6.8 in all, except for the best 2, whose ph is lower, 6ish, which i think is strange. added special humus and mag solution and foliar fed them...

hey man, thanx for the reply. you're right, i didnt check the water ph. i know it's high, as it's tap water. i used ph down the last two times i watered them - once because soil ph was too high, the second because i understand that nutes need water to be around 7 ph to do their magic. i'll check...

dell6666: aren't the yellow spots on my leaves too big to be caused by mites? i thought mites made tiny yellow dots, not the "stain-like" yellowing on my leaves. will check with magnifiying glass, to be sure - thanx.
