I am going to pollinate one branch off of a female to get some seeds but was wondering when the best time to pollinate is. How long does it take a seed to develop? Is a seed created from each pistol (how many seeds will i get?)? This is all hypothetical of course. Thanks for the info!

I apologize if this is a stupid question but does it matter which plant you use for the male/female when crossing strains? Will I get a different strain if I cross a male blueberry with a female Ice and then a male Ice with a Female blueberry? Hypothetically of course...this just fascinates me.

i think your pH is too high for hydro, it should be between 5.2 and 5.9. I had the same problem.

Hey kief, thanks for the extra info. I agree and think that I did over fertilize at first in addition to having the pH too high but after having flushed for about a week and with the plants getting bigger I am fairly certain that they are all suffering from symptoms of lack of N-P-K now. Lower...

Big Bud is still doing great and the two sprouts are doing well so far. The others (Skunk x NL) are still looking like there is a problem. There are small yellow spots with brown rings around them on two of the fan leaves on one plant. This is the same plant where there were smaller yellow spots...

Ok, replaced reservoir with only water and adjusted down to 5.4 pH. I'll keep an eye on the new growth. Thanks for the advice guys.

Here are the details: Plants are just over two weeks old under a 400W HPS light that is about 18-20" from the top of the plants. Temp stays around 72-28 and humidity for first two weeks was around 28% but after purchasing humidifier it has been at around 45-50%. Until last night I had been...
