Topping Off a Reservoir without Gravity

Hopefully if the switch failed it just wouldn't turn the pump on, but it's also possible for the switch to fail 'on' when the pump is running and never turn off. Lots of people use water pumps on timers and things, though, so it's really not a huge concern. Precautions just have to be taken to...

    HARVESTING is killing me

Check out Nugbucket's 'Mainlining' thread and train all your plants in veg that way. It will make your trim time much shorter because you'll only have 8x, 16x, 32x+ tops per plant to trim, and they're all giant colas exactly the same size.

Topping Off a Reservoir without Gravity

Does the RO reservoir need to be inside the tent at all? Just put the reservoir on a stand outside the tent and use the gravity fed float valve. If it really has to have a pump, google for "float switch" and there's a bunch of what you would need. I would really advise against the pump though...

    Uflenti growbox 250 w hps

Box looks really tight but please at least have a smoke detector in that room, and know where the fire extinguisher is. HID lighting + cardboard could make for a very bad situation, be careful out there.

HPS with built in ballast vs HPS without

Unless you are interested in using a Ceramic Metal Halide bulb, I would recommend a remote digital ballast, of the dimmable variety. You can get a ballast that runs at 250W/400W, 400W/600W, or 600W/1000W, and just use the proper wattage HPS bulb for the setting on the ballast. I prefer the...

    Drying in stealth

Make an extra carbon filter/ONA deodorizer bucket to put near the drying area as a backup if the main carbon filter is overwhelmed. To that video, I would add a layer of mesh above the ONA with 2-3" of activated carbon, so the air is first going through carbon filtration, then ONA to mask any...

    Help needed asap

I hope you're using an EWC tea with water temperatures at 78F, that's pretty high. Wrap the buckets in reflective insulation and put something reflective/white on the tops of the buckets to keep the temperatures down. Also when you add water use cold water to get the temperature closer to 65-70F.

    smoke a bit too strong...

There are other herbs that can be dried and smoked, I'm not sure what they are but some Googling will turn it up. Roll a joint consisting mostly of other random herbs, and a little bit of your super-dank sprinkled throughout.

    Cab Grow 2.1 CFL+LED+HPS+DWC & SCROG

Hate to be a downer but it'd be best to spend the $$ and get a proper fan, PC fans aren't going to cut it. Something like one of these, either squirrel cage, mixvent, or inline blower style fan: $92 - Soler & Palau 4" mixvent fan $144 - Sunleaves Windtunnel 6" inline fan For enclosing the 150W...

    2 x 150w hps in min 2 ft cab

For that space, use one 250W HPS. One 250W will be plenty and it will be difficult enough to deal with that much heat. $155 Lumatek 400W/250W electronic ballast (in case you want to do 400W later somewhere larger) $17 Ultra Sun 250W HPS lamp LST the plants as soon as possible and do...

    Stealth Cabinet, Fan placement ??

It won't matter if the exhaust fan is on the inside or outside of the box, as long as it has an airtight seal. It will help if the exhaust fan is at the highest point in the box, and it will also help quite a bit if you get a better fan; Specifically, a type designed to push air through...

    2x 250watt HPS/MH or SINGLE 600watt HPS

Check out Ceramic Metal Halide bulbs. They need a magnetic ballast to run but output a spectrum that's similar to MH + HPS combined. I wouldn't advise downgrading the 600W to two of something else, for light distribution and efficiency reasons. Going with 2x 250W would give a larger light...

    Cab Grow 2.1 CFL+LED+HPS+DWC & SCROG

Plant's looking pretty good, I'd start the LST now and get her bent over so the sides can really branch out. Don't "weave" the plant through the screen, always pull it down through the current hole and over to another. If you leave the stem up through the hole and "weave" it down through a...

what are some good additives for DWC besides regular nutrients?

Don't add H2O2 to your reservoir, unless you're trying to fix a problem. Use the regular Technaflora nutrients with silica and Pondzyme with Barley, it will be great for your roots. Adding H2O2 with Pondzyme would cancel out the effects of the beneficial bacteria.

    Hygrozyme Reviews anyone?

Yes! Do that, and make a thread because I'd love to see the side-by-side results on that test.

    A perfect cure every time

Just take it out of the jar for a few hours and let it dry out a bit more before jarring it back up. As long as it doesn't have mold or weird smells (grassy is fine, just means it's wet) it should be fine.

SCROG or LST with DWC bubble pots -- how to do it?

Get a wire rack from something like this and cut some bits out from the middle large enough for your netpot, set it on top of your DWC bucket/tub and tie the plant down to it. Might need to tie the rack down to the bucket or put weights on it if the plant is too strong.

Blue Dream SCRoG + Undercurrent DWC + CO2

I'd guess they add back tap so they don't have to supplement calcium/magnesium, and to lower the cost of all that R/O water. Berkman I think you hit it right on, ppm's too high too quick. I bet they bounce right back after 30ppm for awhile and maybe going up around 350ppm over a week or so.
