Wouldnt the hot spots also depend on the heat of the lamps? What if your using a florescent low heat lamp would it still be dangerous? What about when some people grow in winter wouldnt the extra warmth save on your electric bill?

Yeah dude mine is also knocked out like it's facing the floor. It's so leaned over it doesnt seem like it'll get light. I just watered it a little and hopefully my problem was the same as yours. I'll update.

Thing is I have left it alone almost completely unless im watering it when its dry enough or changing it's position from the window to the lamps.
