sorry for the multiple post, but if i were you i would stick with the 600s, despite what others here think they are the better bulb as opposed the 1000k. the 600 has a higher lumern per watt rating, and it runs cooler so, you will be better off running a 600 closer to the plant than a 1000...

the room is 8*6*8.6=412 cubic foot. i have a 140cfm vent fan that runs constantly, and a oscillating fan thats always on. im pulling in fresh air . the vent fan is able to turn over the air in less than 5 mins.
