my plants top is turning..the next set of leaves and two below that was ripped off..when the thing around the light fell on it..i am new to this... will the plant be ok or is there something i can do to help it??

hello kinda new at this,,,,but today my light feel on my plant its about a foot tall... well it skined to top leaves off and its shoots... shoots were lil but i put rooting powder on them...( which i have never used before either) in hopes they will grow,,,but will my plant be ok i am being...
