what is a easy cheap way to hang cfls?

Lowes has some cheap 10 dollar bathroom lighting fixtures with 4 sockets, if you use Y adapters you get 8 sockets and lots of coverage! I hang mine using hook and chain set with a stabilizer bar on the side to prevent rocking.

    Rubbermaid Inline Fan Upgrade

Hey everyone, after an uphill battle with the heat from my grow last year I've fixed up my Rubbermaid box. Got my temps down to 80-85F with the lights on! :-P My 4 plants are about 2 weeks into veg and are growing VERY fast but I'm not ready for the stink; I need some help picking out a solid...

Slow seedling growth and few shriveling

Average is 90ish, peaks at 95. Too hot for my taste, looking to get a much better fan ASAP. Won't a bigger pot help keep moisture longer in higher heat?

I'm having an almost carbon copy of your situation. My 9 day old seedlings: When do you plan to move them to a bigger container? What about starting to add nutes? I'm a little grey on this myself but maybe ours are becoming somewhat root bound from the small cups.. For the record I'm using...

1st CFL Grow Rubbermaid --WHITE WIDOW--

I'm using Fox Farm Organic soil with perlite mixed in 15%, no nutes for the first 3-4 weeks. Water is just plain old filtered tap water left to sit for a day. The exhaust fan I'm using is the AC one from Radio Shack actually, but I only have 1. I picked up some aluminum flex ducting the other...

1st CFL Grow Rubbermaid --WHITE WIDOW--

Yeah, I can tell the closet isn't helping matters. Here's the kicker: with the lights off and fans on it's all the way down to 77F. Guess I really do need a much stronger fan!

1st CFL Grow Rubbermaid --WHITE WIDOW--

Well, what are your ambient temps, Sevren? I live in the south and my room gets pretty hot so I think I might need some kind of AC unit in here. I went ahead and added a second 4" elbow intake today, and took warfey's suggestion and moved to an 18/6 cycle. Seems to have dropped the temps 5...

1st CFL Grow Rubbermaid --WHITE WIDOW--

Anyone? Is my intake large enough? I'm considering a portable AC or window unit instead of the huge fan for such a small grow. Any other suggestions are very welcome!

Sounds good, but I would use https://www.rollitup.org/do-yourself/101248-best-diy-ez-walmart-carbon.html instead of the ozone generator; cheap and very effective!

Well I thought the same think but it really depends on the wattage. My house is 70-78 but with 45w cfls it's scorching in there!

Wow, are you my bearded evil twin or somethin? I just started an almost exact grow as you about a week ago! Subscribed, what lighting are you using and how do you plan to deal with heat? Mine are coming along slowly but it's way too hot for my taste (90-95) with 1 120mm fan.

Hey everyone, with the help of a few previous Rubbermaid experts, I've decided to try my hand at a grow of my own :-P Here's what I have so far: Two 35 gallon Rubbermaids 8 45-watt 6500k CFL bulbs on Y-sockets Mylar all around the inside, and weather stripping on the middle 4" passive intake...

How to Build an Easy Cabinet? Instructions and Pics Step by Step for the Noobs

Awesome design, I'm going to be trying this out for my new cab. One thing I'm not sure on is the hook and bolt setup- how exactly did you put the hooks and bolts in to hang the chains? You say one in one out on each side but where do the hooks come into play? Thanks for the fantastic advice so far!

PC Growbox for $300 or Rubbermaid grow box for $100? YOU DECIDE!

I've been wondering this myself, how do you plan to flower them in either? Won't most strains get far too tall for both of them?
