Thanks Iazaah, just bought a first aid blanket and halfway done placing it up in the cabinet ;-) Pics are of 9days from getting the plant. Are the burns/spots on the leaves from the soil's pH?

Instead of builder's insulator wrap, use or insert flat white cardboard strips or similar. The shiny stuff usually doesn't reflect aswell as most people would think ;)
