    ive never changed the water in the reservoir. i mix up the water and nutes in a old milk jug and just add the mixture to the reservoir as it gets low. my plants still look great. no brown or yellow spots...just pesky algae on the growing sponge

    if you dont like the idea of using peroxide, you can get "no damp" from walmart. does the same thing but more expensive.

    my AG is in the basement. if it were going to mold, then i think i would have it by now. one thing i have done tho to prevent root rot is to put a few drops of peroxide per liter ( two cap fulls in a full reservoir) . i have a little prob with algae growing on the sponge that i used in the seed...
