i have my mothers in 5 gal. buckets of pro mix, and they are starting to get some size to them. in my buckets I drilled about 5 or 6 half inch holes in the bottom for drainage. I noticed today the roots are starting to grow through the holes, what should I do, or will they be fine. thanks

I just put together two of them from parts picked up from lowes. I already had the ballast kits and bulbs and it still cost me about 60 bucks for everything else.

Thanks for the input, that makes a lot of sense. I have 2 100 watt hps ballasts and an endless supply of 100 watt bulbs. they put out some suprisingly intense light. Do you think the 400 hps and those 2- 100 watt hps would be suitable for flowering in the 4x4 tent? I dont have hoods for them...

I dont know, but I would like too because my mothers are fem seeds. I wont be cloning until april-may though, I guess we will find out. I will never order fem seeds again for this reason. period.

So you think I would have just as good of a yeild with 4 larger plants as opposed to SOG? honestly, im not lookin for a huge indoor yeild, because I have always grown my own, outdoors from clones from friends, and usually have enough to smoke on all year.I just think indoor is a cool hobby...

i got a 1000 watt system as well. that is why i actually got the xxxl hood, but my electric bill has been so high lately I wanted to size down a bit. So are you saying the 400 watt MH in the xxxl hood wont have good results for veg? im not actually using the whole 4x4 area, more like 3x3

how is the quality compared to pro mix with mycorise? better/worse? I couldnt decide so I went with the pro mix but the coco is sounding pretty good now.......
