from what i have gathered, it is best to flush the nutrients that you used during the flowering stage approx 2 weeks before you think they will be done to rid of all the nutes from the plant which is said to give the buds a not-so-great flavor.

im pretty new at this and asked this in another thread and havnt got an answer there yet, but when yall say flush for 2 weeks am i supposed to water the plant with 9gal (3gal pot) of water daily or just once 2 weeks prior to chop and then water normally without nutes for the remaining 2 weeks?

thanks yall, i was gonna flush it out tomorrow and just ph'd water it for 2 more weeks and see how that goes. im using bio canna organic stuff so maybe if it looks good within the week that should be enough flushing? also, those are 3 of the biggest top colas. there are a ton of smaller ones...

I have a green crack currently in the flower box that looks really close to being ready, but it has only been 6 weeks or about 45 days. I read that green crack could be a very quick maturing strain, but could it be this quick? it is in soil too.

hello again, this is an update with pics. it is now 10 days from the last time i took a pic. its a different cam and it is also flash fill (cant really get a proper pic without flash with the HPS). but, if possible, can anyone tell if it should be ready by this weekend or not? hook em!

I was also wondering about flushing. Do I actually flush with 3-5x the amount of water a few times or just do regular watering for 2 weeks with only water? Seems to confuse me if there are 2 different interpretations of the word.

hairs and trichs are different. in order to really see the trichs you gotta get like a 30x-100x microscope. 30x if you have like uber good eyes. i usually look at them under 60-100x using the cheapo radioshack scopes. thanks roxi, yeah i think ima let this one go deeper into the couch and...

yes sir, i got it from radio shack. heres a link to what it looks like from their website, its a little difficult to use if you are trying to look at the trichs straight on the plant. the best way to do it is to cut a small piece off and look at it on a table or some stable surface. i hate...

thanks, ive been checking out the trichs and been looking up pics for reference but i dont know if my radioshack microscope magnifies enough for my eyes to see...they all look pretty much clear to me haha. maybe that will change in a few weeks and i will finally know what amber trichs look...

i have found out that my pump is not really adequate for a 12" air stone. i got the 30gal or so pump with the single outlet and i should have shelled out $5+ for the 60gal one.

i was wondering if water temps affect the process at all? i made something like this last week and put some cuttings in and no signs of roots at all. maybe the water is too cold? the ambient temp is ~75f.
