The best thing about revegging is that the root structure is already in place. You have fully developed root structure as opposed to cloning where you would need several months to build it to that level. I have plants that have been revegged several times.

Your seeds will have the same genetics as the mother. If there is an inherent hermie trait it will be passed on. If the hermies were due to stress, that will not affect the genetics.
