ya but can i leave my carbon filter standing upright instead of hanging it and then strap my 10 inch inline fan on top ?

do u think I can get away with just standing it upright and placeing the fan on top?

I have a 5 air cooled hoods hung and I have a 10 inch inline fan attached to a carbon filter that i am gonna connect to the hoods but im not sure of the best way to hang the fan so that it doesnt blow around and I think im gonna have to be able to adjust the heighth as well as they get bigger...

if this is so then why does evrybody waste the extra money to go 1000w, especially when that obviously creates more heat issues using the 1000w??
