Ok tanning bulb are not exactly the right WL yes but reading the book i read ed rosenthals books they state uvb for the higher ratio of thc but state to use tanning bulbs, however in my thumbing around have heard the same for the 10.0 bulbs either way both benificial i feel...tanning bulbs...

You want potent stuff get some uvb tanning bulbs that hang around 400 - 420(ironic) nanometer wavelength....uvb has a direct ratio to how much thc the plant produces the plants create teripenes to prevent sunburn(also ironic) therefore allowing the plant to hold/create more of the good...

So its my second grow and I started 36 seedlings in a incubator from wal-mart, all 36 sprouted so I moved 15 of them to pots with a 50/50 mix of potting soil and vermiculite that’s all I had room for in my container that I use to keep my lil garden in to protect the flooring of my grow room...

But you would actually want an airstone and a pump only to oxigenate the water and a pump so the water does not go stagnant I just the other day posted a thread in general growing under the title wick experiment or opinions wanted both the same...

I kinda consider it to be a cross system of both hydro and soil. I am hoping that I get that better tasting soil grown with the speed of a hydro set up

I swear they were in there one day I didn’t look at them for like 30 hours and when I saw them I was blown away by the spurt I have read they can grow as fast as 2 inches a day under optimal conditions.

Well I think that the wick system is classified as a hydro yes. But I’m using potting soil and my water in the kiddie pool is just that, water. I would say that I’m growing in soil because that is where my nutrition is at. I just maintain my water temp & ph . And the potting mix...

I have not read every page, I have found in my research that the portions of bluelight produed around 420nm have a direct relationship to how much thc you plant produces. Therefore the more blue light the more thc that is why the bulbs work good throughout the entire life cycle. I don't know...
