Do yourself a favor and ditch the mylar. Get the orca, or I use the sunleaves ultraflect sheeting. The ultraflect is super strong and has diamond pattern to diffuse the light. you cant even tear the stuff.

I had a problem with my ballast, the light would sometimes come on and other times it wouldn't. Found out the chord was a the max length so I shortened the lamp chord and it sparks up every time now.

maybe hanging the fixture vertical would let the heat escape better. After all my flower room is vertical

For exhaust I have a 8in blower, and I have a flippi fan blowing horizontal across the lights. I moved the flourescent up and now the temps stay in the lower 80's. seedlings seem fine but i would rather have temps 78-79

Ok so I just bought a 4x4 tent and have a 8 bulb 4ft fixture in the tent on a bunch of seedlings. My temps stay around 85 degees even when i hook my 8in blower. I have a fan blowing up at the fixture but it still stays at 85. the light is about 1ft above the seedling so im guessing its radiant...

Well I need fresh air for the plants. So the only way to do this is seal the room, get a burner, dehumidifier, and controls in the room.

So only way to cool a grow is having it sealed? I really find that hard to believe.

I have a co2 tank but I don't think its worth the Hassel BC I have to drive 40min to fill. I would need to fork out another $1200 for controls and burner.

OK sorry for the confusion, the exhaust for the whole grow room goes into my central air return with a 10 in scrubber. The out and intake from the air conditioner come from the outside like a window unit so the hot air from the air condition go out the window. I guess what I'm asking should the...
