I am trying to create something that is similar to the flip box...but instead of running 12/12 ....I want 6 on 18 off .....but I want it to run to four different lights in different rooms off of one ballast.....so off one ballast I need it to light up room one for 6 hours..then switch to room 2...

Yes it sends the auxins to the tip of the shoot for better growth...plus those little wispy buds underneath are usually a pain to trim for barely anything to smoke
