    Can i grow 8 plants in a 3'x3' space?

Depends on strain and height when turned to flowering. Some can do nine in that space if pruned and monitored properly. GO with 12" max before flipping them on basic pure indicas and avoid the sativas for that space if you are doing that many in a 3x3.

Run a 435 CFM through a 6" pipe out of the top and into a can filter and you are all set. No need for Vortex - CAP should do. 85 max temp.

any comments about Mr Greens videos on youtube??

Use drip rings in each 5 gallon bucket and if you want to really go for maximum aeration add airstones to each as well. Use a good guard for the root zone - H202 or Hygrozyme - watch the temps and test your pH and PPM weekly at minimum. There is much less shift in the veg stage than flowering...

How to start a drip irrigation

I am not using pots - just the 6" hugo blocks, which fit the trays exactly. How many times a day do the trays need to be flooded and is it still 50mm? Thanks again.

How to start a drip irrigation

Touché Al, Touché. I think I'm going to hand water them. This is too much hassle for those smaller trays - better for an actual tray bed with the space and cross channels for drainage it seems. So - with hydroton on the bottom of the dutch leach trays to improve root drainage, and at the risk...

How to start a drip irrigation

Thanks for your help on this - the holes are at the end of the trays near the bottom. With the elbows inserted, apparently you turn them up to flood and down to drain. Using your suggestions, should I try to connect a pump to one of the elbows and turn the other one up? Sorry to keep going on...

How to start a drip irrigation

Thanks Al - fantastic diagram. The dutch leach trays come with two elbows and two plugs for the two holes at the end of each tray. These are apparently capable of being modified to fit an ebb & flow but I don't see how - will your method work with tubing attached to one of the elbows?

Thanks - any idea how to set that up for two of those 40" dutch trays? A pump and a bucket for the res and how to control the flood depth within the trays? Thanks again Al.
