    supercropping

I've done my first supercropping with my current crop. I believe I am doing it correctly. I'm into my third week of flowering so I probably shouldn't still be doing it but I'm starting to run out height space. Anyway when I supercrop them I bend them 90 degrees. However they don't bend back up...

    when to stop training?

When should I stop training the plants? They are quite bushy with numerous tops so I think it's a good time to switch to flowering. Is it ok to continue training during flowering? I've topped and LSTed them but I only plan to supercrop them from now on.

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

I've never done any training ever before. I'm going to try topping, fimming and lst. Whichever one works best for me will be the method I will stick with in future grows. Topping seems to be the most straight forward though.

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Paulie I recall reading that and just wanted to be 100% certain. It does seem that the first set of true leaves is the first node. I'll cut at the blue line and earerly awaiting the development of 4 big fat colas. Thanks

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

I have read the first 5 pages. A few times in fact. What UB says is to top above the 2nd true node. In my original post I asked does the first set of true leaves correspond to the first true node? Nowhere in the first 5 pages says that. I took a photo of my seedlings, added text, arrows and...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

Are you sure because the 2 blue lines correspond to the same node in each plant. the blue line is between the 2nd and 3rd set of new leaves in both. the yellow is between the 3rd and 4th. I added some text and arrows to highlight this but im not sure how legible the text is. I would have thought...

Uncle Ben's Topping Technique to Get 2 or 4 Main Colas

    H2o2

How about for removing the algae from the top of the rockwool cubes. My cubes are gone very green and slimy. Some of them even have bubbles on them. And they are still only seedlings. I was thinking of applying some to the top of the cubes but I'm afraid that I can hurt the seedlings.

    leaves raised on seedlings

I've 2 pics of one of the seedlings. This is the worst one. Leaves are raised and dried out at the tips. I normally have them in a propagator under a CFL, the tips of seedlings anywhere between 2-3 inches from the bulbs. The bulbs don't emit much heat although my digital thermometer says it...

    H2o2

Any recommend adding H2O2 to my hydro nutrient solution? I saw a bottle of it down in my local grow shop. It says it adds oxygen to the water.

    leaves raised on seedlings

no pic but as i said in first post that they are in rockwool cubes in a propagator under a CFL light. the light is about 2 inches above the seedlings. theres plenty of fresh air. not sure what the temp is. maybe about 20C?

    leaves raised on seedlings

I germinated some seeds about 9 days ago. There are in small rockwool cubes in a propagator under a CFL. They have one set of new leaves and starting to grow the second set. The leaves have started to raise up. They look healthy but raised, about 45 degrees upwards from horizontal. Any idea...

    humidity vs air

i've put my germinated seeds into the small rockwool cubes and they are in my propagator.the humidity is nice and high but no fresh air is getting in. there is an opening at the top which i can open but this reduces the humidity. im just wondering when exactly the seedlings start to require...

    simple topping method

Thanks for the explanation. I was watching a clip on youtube earlier about topping and the guy in the video actually cut the stem and referred to this as topping. Its strange how cutting off the whole bud results in 2 new colas, and cutting off 80% of it results in 4+ colas. But if it works...

    simple topping method

thanks WD for your responses so far. you're being very patient with my lack of understanding. 1. you said topping means you cut the top of the plant and you cut when there are 2-4 nodes below it. so do you pysically cut off everything above the 2-4 nodes by cutting the stem? are there any...

    simple topping method

there seems to be a lot of misuse of training terms. so far from watching video clips on youtube and general web research topping seems be when you either cut of the stem of the plant at least 2 nodes from the bottom, and its also when you cut the bud at the top. which one is correct? now...
