Cool thanks mate, the shell has now fallen off both naturally :D I might have to use the toothpick idea though as they are quite lanky.

I was gonna add perlite, but i forgot. I'll just have to be careful with overwatering like most newbs

Thanks mate. They don't actually have a light yet, they are usign the sun at the mo. Will add lights tonight or next few days

I heard its pretty hard to overwater with coco. Although I haven't actually watered them once yet lol

Thanks for the replys. I'm using coco and soaked it before i planted, but I haven't watered yet. I hope this is ok. I might try to get the shell away from the seed later on, although its strange how both of them ahve done it.

Germed on the 28th (8 days ago), is the stem supposed to be this long without leaves? Does it look okay?

I'll try to describe it... its basically a very hard lump of 'resin' which we call draw. How can you make it? Not sure americans call it or if it exists over there.. Thanks :bigjoint:

When should I give seeds first light? from the very beginning? and I dont have a CFL for the first few weeks, can i use a hps from a fairly long distance for it?

I have Canna Coco A and B, do I need anything else? Also, Should I feed 1/4 strength nutes right when the seedlings pop out of the ground, since the coco has no nutes for the seedling to feed on? or do I wait for a while? Thanks alot :)
