I haven't tried drying on top of a CFL, though I have used the microwave method. Very harsh... still gets the job done. However, like others the best way is the let it dry and cure way. Another fast(er) method I would recommend, is by placing bud in a paper bag.. It will dry a little faster...

Quick Update: 6 out of 7 netpots now have roots showing. 1 plant looks unhealthy, I may give another seedling, if no roots show in the next few days. Today Res change, PH 5-6 TDS 450.

It's a beautiful plant you have there. I don't think just having it on the window seal will give you the best results, though I' sure you can get something. The best way to bypass the power meter is to first locate your breaker box. Next cut the main. Then place gas generator for replacement of main. Yoi are now off the grid ^^
